As executive Director of finance and accounting, Irene’s primary responsibilities include, oversight and directing the financial and accounting operations of Pros Ranch Markets. Irene works in conjunction with VP of Operations and other executive management to ensure that the company continues to thrive, both in sales volume and net profitability, while ensuring high employee morale and customer satisfaction.

Irene brings to Pros Ranch Markets over 25 years of experience in finance, accounting, business management and strong leadership skills. For the last 12 years, Irene was the Vice President of Finance for R-Ranch Markets, an independent grocery chain with a Hispanic target market. Irene brings a well-rounded understanding of the grocery business, from the numbers to the actual operations that drive the business. Her experience include, cash flow management, budgeting, sales, gross margins, pricing, payroll, inventory and other costs controls. Irene has expertise in marketing, planning weekly advertisements, merchandising as well as public relations with banks, vendors, government agencies, lawyers and others. She has implemented various systems such as Accounting, POS, Back Door Receiving, Payroll and others. She has experience in real estate account management and has participated in securing business and commercial financing. .

Irene has held various executive level positions; as Director of Accounting at ASUCLA, she directed the financial and business operations that included, bookstores, restaurants, distribution center and other retail operations.

Education: PHD in Business Administration- dissertation stage, Masters Degree (MBA) and a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSB) from Emporia State University.
