Sam Ramarajan joined Pro's Ranch Markets in November 2004. He brings 25 years of International Experience in Finance and Accounting in Mining, Manufacturing and Retail Industrial sectors. Sam started his career in India with the Polyester Fibre Manufacturing Industry. In Africa, he worked in a Senior Management position in one of the biggest Mining Corporations, owned by Anglo American Corporation, De Beers and the Botswana Government. He joined as a Controller in a Wholesale Produce Company in the City of Commerce in 1996. In 2004, he was appointed as Corporate Controller for the whole group which included the Grocery Retail stores. In November 2004, he joined the Finance Department of Pro's Ranch Markets

Sam holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting. He also holds a CPA from the California Board of Accountancy, an ACA from India(CPA), an ACMA from London, UK(Cost and Management Accountant) and an AICWA from India(Cost and Works Accountant). He also completed taxation courses from H & R Block and has worked with them part time for 2 years(Preparation of Individuals’ Tax Returns). Sam is responsible for the full Financial Reporting functions which include Preparation of Financial Statements, Budgets, Liason with the Statutory Auditors, Systems Development and reports directly to the Executive Director Finance/Accounting. He is married and has a son who is a Computer Science Graduate from the University of California, Irvine.
